Happy Birthday to myself

My Birthday Celebration

I consider myself very fortunate to have good friends here on earth... I think I am blessed when it comes to that area of life. I may not be wealthy when it comes to finances but when it comes to love ones and friends, I guess I am a Millionaire.

Since my mother died last 2005, I became used to celebrate my birthday at home, no visitors but just with my two dogs but that did not mean I was lonely, in fact I was just happy to celebrate my birthday that way, but just this year, I celebrated my Birthday differently, good coincidence the Government announced the day as holiday to give respect to the end of Ramadan, friends took it as a chance to spend a day with me. Well since I have friends belonging to different groups, I have two dates in my special day (September 10).

Lunch with Sang at Oki Oki Japanese Restaurant Trinoma Mall, Quezon City

My Lunch Date with Sang..

Because it was a holiday Sang decided to treat me out and left temporarily her family. Sang and I seldom see each other because she is now residing in Pampanga, and I am from Marikina. So we decided to meet halfway, and the Best Place is Trinoma. At Trinoma we chose to dine at a Japanese Restaurant called Oki Oki. Of course once a Filipino dined in at a Japanese restaurant,  definitely they wont miss Tempura. Actually Sang Ordered a lot, We had Salad, Maki, Tempura, chicken teriyaki and Miso soup.

I love Oki Oki... I guess the food made my birthday happier

Dinner with Gemma and Anna at Tong Yang Restaurant, Jupiter St. Makati City

Enjoying the night of my Birthday at Tong Yang, Jupiter St. Makati

Anna picked me up at Gateway Mall, because coming from Trinoma and after a long stroll with Sang inside the mall, I was already very tired if I will immediately proceed to Makati so Anna said we will meet halfway again and we decided to meet at Gateway Mall. Later at almost 6pm Anna Arrived and we proceeded to Tong Yang, Makati, and we waited for our other friend Gemma. Anna and Gemma are Highschool buddies and we really make time for us to meet as frequently as possible..

If you want to spend a long night eating and chatting or bonding with Friends, Tong Yang is also a good place to dine in.  Eat all you can, Shabu shabu combined two different broth, and  a griller.... you also have a choice of drinks, softdrink, ice tea, draft beer to coffee, a buffet of desserts, Ice cream, and another ready to eat buffet...

it's worth the price... and we really had fun... what a way to end my happy birthday

Dinner with College Gang Nobu, BlueWave Macapagal, Pasay

NOBU RESTO

College Gang at Nobu, Bluewave Macapagal

September 11 was not just my birthday celebration but also our college gang mini reunion. We decided to dine at Nobu, Bluewave Macapagal. Nobu also offered an eat all you can with Hot pot and griller... definitely cheaper than Tong Yang, but of course, can't be better with the original... well if you want a cheaper eat all you can, I think Nobu is good enough... the waiters and staff are accommodating and they are aware of their Resto's deficiency, but I think they will improve, I guess they are new in the business. NO offense but I still prefer Tong Yang, but if you are along the Bluewave Macapagal area and you want a cheaper hotpot then that is the place to go..

Starbucks, Still at Bluewave Macapagal

College gang proceeded to Starbucks

Bonding at Nobu was obviously not enough that our group proceeded to Starbucks, of Bluewave Macapagal. Our friend Tere treated us for a coffe or our choice with banana pastry.. Well the conversation recalling the good old days really made our nights

Dinner with Ralph and Melba at Brazil Brazil, Metro Walk, Pasig

Another Extension of Celebration

I am still celebrating six days after my birthday, this time with cousin Ralph and Fiancée Melba. Brazil Brazil is actually Ralph's choice, and I had good experience with it when it catered to one birthday celebration of a former boss..

Brazil Brazil, is obviously Brazilian...(LOL), eat all you can at reasonable prize... You will be given the YoYo with colors Yellow and Green, and when the Green side is turned, it means, you are ready to get whatever roasted something that they will offer you.

There is a buffet table that offers Pasta, Rice, Viand, Salad, Desserts and Soup. You can serve yourself while waiting for the "Anything Roasted"or what they called Churrascaria Barbecue, that the waiters will offer you, such as the Roasted beef, roasted pork belly, chicken barbecue, sausage, sausage with cheese, Cattlefish, roasted pineapple and banana (roasted fruits are great).

Those anything roasted arrived one after another and will only stop offering food when you told them. When you are done, you can bring home the YoYo as your souvenir.
